Privacy Policy.

This page explains what NotSlop collects, why it collects it, and how your reports are handled.

What you enter

When you start a scan, NotSlop collects the URL you enter and the scan options you choose.

If you use locked-page scanning, you may enter a login URL, username, password, and optional field selectors. Only use credentials for sites you own, manage, or have permission to test.

What the scan collects

NotSlop reads public page content, headings, links, metadata, screenshots, and simple technical signals such as robots.txt, sitemap.xml, structured data, and page status.

The scan may also collect visible page text from locked pages if you provide working test credentials.

The scanner is built for website review. Do not use it on pages that contain sensitive personal, financial, medical, or private customer information.

Reports

Reports are saved so you can open them later from the same guest session or signed-in account.

A report may include the scanned URL, page text, screenshots, findings, scores, scan notes, competitor comparison, SEO check details, and suggested fixes.

Reports are not public marketing pages. They are tied to the guest session or account that created them.

Accounts

If you sign in with Google, NotSlop receives basic account details such as your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier.

These details are used to save reports, count scans, show your account page, and match Buy Me a Coffee supporter access when applicable.

Cookies and limits

NotSlop uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember guest reports, and apply scan limits.

It may also use basic request information, such as IP or device signals, to reduce duplicate guest scans and protect the service from abuse.

Services used

NotSlop may use third-party services to run scans, generate reports, store data, handle sign-in, and process supporter webhooks.

These services can include Google sign-in, OpenAI, Firecrawl, Buy Me a Coffee, Railway, and any storage or database provider used by the app.

Data is shared with these services only as needed to provide the scan, report, account, or supporter feature.

Your choices

You can use one guest scan without signing in. If you sign in, your reports are tied to your account.

You can delete reports or your account from the account page when those controls are available.

If you need help with privacy or report deletion, contact the project owner through the support channel shown on the site or repository.

Changes

This policy may change as NotSlop changes.

If the way NotSlop handles data changes in a meaningful way, this page will be updated so the policy stays clear.
